Luna Vista offers an exceptional team of instructors for all ages and all skill levels.  A new learning center building has been built, which will allow instructors the opportunity to fit you for the best equipment to meet your needs.  Additionally the learning center has a two camera JC Video Motion Analysis System.  The new range is complete with target greens, a practice fairway, a large all grass tee for practice, a redesigned short game area with practice bunker and a new large putting green.  This will provide our staff and students a great venue for improving their skills.

Brooks is a USMC Veteran and graduate of the PGA/PGM program at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas.  Brooks gained his Class A PGA Membership in August 2014 and is an active member of the Northern Texas PGA Section.
 
Brooks has a passion for teaching all facets of the game to players of all skill levels.  Brooks is involved in our Northern Texas PGA Junior Camps, Fairways to Success,  and Get Golf Ready clinics, as well as the First Tee of Greater Dallas. Striving to provide a relaxed environment and goal oriented instruction for all players, Brooks makes learning to play fun and enjoyable.
 
Adults - $75 per hour
Juniors - $45 per hour (Half hour lessons available)

Freddy Morrison

Freddy is originally from Austin, TX and started playing golf at the age of 16.  He instantly fell in love with this great game.  In 2010, Freddy moved to Dallas, TX to continue his career in golf.  Freddy was elected a Class A PGA Membership in October 2016 and actively participates in the Northern Texas PGA Section.  He is involved with the First Tee of Greater Dallas, Get Golf Ready and Junior Clinics.

Freddy is passionate about teaching the game of golf and watching the transformation of his students.  He has a deep understanding of the golf swing and has the ability to communicate that understanding to golfers of all skill levels.  Freddy believes in studying several teaching methods to be able to help every golfer, no matter their ability, size, flexibility, learning style, or age.  Freddy’s goal is to not only help you play better, but to understand why.

Heath graduated from the Golf Academy of America in April of 2015. He graduated at the top of his class and earned his teaching certificate from PGA instructors. Heath plans to join the PGA apprentice program in early 2016.

Heath enjoys teaching the game of golf to all levels of golfers. He is also involved with the First Tee of Greater Dallas as well as local schools.  Heath believes that the game of golf should be fun and enjoyable while still striving to get better as a player.

Adults- $75 per hour

             Ages 12- 17 $60 per hour

Leah has been a member of the PGA of America since 1987 achieving quarter century membership status in 2012. She is trained in the instructional principles taught by the PGA. In order to stay current with her PGA membership she continues to attend continuing education teaching workshops and seminars. Leah has lived in Dallas since 1984 and has during that time worked as an Assistant Golf Professional at The Northwood Club and as an Assistant and Head Golf Professional at Stonebriar C.C.and is currently the owner and Director of Instruction of The Golf Institute. Leah moved to Dallas from Jacksonville, Fl., where she worked as a Golf Professional at The Sawgrass Resort. Leah graduated from Florida State University where she played on the golf team.  Leah’s background knowledge comes from a lifetime of playing, studying, and understanding the game. Leah has given more than 27,000 golf lessons to date, since becoming a golf professional and has owned and operated The Golf Institute since 1991.
 

THE GOLF INSTITUTE

The Golf Institute was created by Leah Berst in January of 1991.  The purpose of the school was to put together golf education programs for new and experienced golfers.  The school presently offers both adult and junior schedules of events.  The Golf Institute has comprehensive learning for golfers of all ages and genders.  Offered are classes, clinics and private instruction for all.  The Golf Institute also focuses on comprehensive junior programs from summer camps, to ongoing clinics during the school year, as well as special developmental programs for juniors interested in playing competitive golf. 

Lesson Rates: 
Adults -  $90 per 45 minutes
               $110 per hour
Series -  $395 (5) 45 minutes
               $500 (5) 1 hour
2 Students - $110 1 hour

Juniors - 7-11 $55 per 1/2 hour
               12-17 $75 per 45 min.
